OTIS Research Study Participation fact sheet
Remember, even if you are not taking any medication or have no medical conditions you may qualify for a study. All of our studies include women who are not exposed to any medications or have exposures that are not known to be a risk in pregnancy. Participants are never asked to take a medication during their pregnancy, nor do we recommend discontinuing medications.
We are enrolling controls in both of our ongoing studies. If you are interested in helping other women by participating in an observational research study please click either of the links below to learn more about the studies.
Discontinuation of Antidepressants During Pregnancy Study
This study is looking at antidepressant use in pregnancy. You may qualify for participation if you have been using an antidepressant during your pregnancy. OTIS is also enrolling controls for this study (women who haven’t used an antidepressant during their pregnancy). If you are interested in learning more about this study please click the link below.

OTIS Autoimmune Diseases in Pregnancy Project
This study is researching the effects of autoimmune diseases such at Cronh's disease, rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis and psoriasis, as well as the medications used to treat these conditions during pregnancy. Participants will not be asked to take any medication as part of this study. We are also enrolling controls for this study (women who don’t have an autoimmune disease, but who are pregnant).
