Members of OTIS have a wide range of backgrounds and experience in the field of teratology and include medical doctors, genetic counselors, nurses, researchers, and educators. OTIS encourages health care providers, health educators, and members of the general public with a special interest in teratology to join OTIS as voting or non-voting members. Benefits of OTIS membership include reduced annual meeting fees, access to the members-only section of the OTIS website, and ability to serve on OTIS committees.
The OTIS membership year runs from January 1st through December 31st of each year. In order to qualify for reduced registration fees for the annual meeting in June, members must be paid in full for the year of the meeting.
